About me
I am Ahdil Singh, a Grade 12 student with a deep interest in technology and its potential to address real-world challenges. As the founder of SkillBridge, I recognized the need for a structured platform that connects local laborers with employers in search of skilled workers. Having observed firsthand the difficulties faced by daily-wage laborers in securing consistent employment, I set out to build a solution that makes this process more accessible, transparent, and efficient.

Through SkillBridge, I aim to combine social impact with innovation: using data organization and digital accessibility to bridge the gap between labor supply and demand. This initiative reflects my passion for leveraging technology to create meaningful change in communities and ensuring that opportunities reach those who need them most.

Project SkillBridge is dedicated to transforming the way unskilled and skilled daily wage workers in Amritsar connect with employers. By creating a structured and reliable database, the platform organizes an otherwise fragmented and informal labor market, making it easier for anyone, from individuals to businesses, to find the right workers for their needs. This one-stop solution brings visibility to workers’ abilities and ensures that employers have streamlined access to dependable talent. In doing so, SkillBridge not only simplifies the hiring process but also fosters opportunity, stability, and growth for the city’s workforce, building a stronger bridge between people seeking work and those who need it.
